Position Summary

Austin Peay State University is currently seeking part-time, temporary, adjunct instructors in the area of Healthcare Administration. Seeking an individual with expertise in Health Care Economics, Health Care Finance, Strategic Planning and Policy, or Public Health Law.
The Department of Health & Human Performance serves approximately 600 majors in five undergraduate concentrations: Applied Exercise Science, Health, Public Health Care Management, Human Movement, and K-12 Teaching. In addition, approximately 60 students are in the Master of Science program: Sport and Wellness Leadership; Public Health Education; and Master of Healthcare Administration.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Teach graduate or undergraduate courses in the in the area of healthcare administration.

Required Minimum Qualifications

- Faculty teaching baccalaureate courses must have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
- Faculty teaching graduate courses must have an eared Doctorate in the teaching discipline or related field.
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
