Position Summary Information

Position Summary

This a leadership position based on special skills. The Adult Café Leader reports to the ANTS Coordinator and works a total of 50 hours planning, meeting, reporting, contacting, and supporting assigned student group members. This assignment begins in August 2017 and ends on 05/05/2018.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

- Write articles or other original works.
- Implement application of technology.
- Program special events.
- Supervise and direct others.Attend PTEC conferences.
- Meet with your group a minimum of 10 group times between September and May.
- Assist with essentially four (4) Potlucks/Family nights between September and May.
- Attend one (1) training session per semester during Fall 2017/Spring 2018.
- Provide reports as needed to the ANTS Coordinator (to maintain attendance records and provide suggestions for resources).
- Commit to approximately 20-25 hours per semester (a total of 40-50 hour for the academic year).
- Begin assignment with and maintain an overall combined GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Performed other job-related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
Required Minimum Qualifications

- Must be an APSU student enrolled at least ½ time.
- Minimum 3.0 overall combined GPA.
- Must have completed at least 30 credit hours at APSU or must have been through the Adult Café program.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- A background check may be required of the successful applicant.
